When does school start and end for the new school year?
School starts August 16 and ends May 16, 2025. 
​Will classes be in-person or online?
Classes are in person on the JLS Middle School campus in Palo Alto.  Calligraphy classes are online only, however.
What is the class size for each grade?
Class sizes vary depending on the grade level.  Pre-K class size is 12.  In general, CSL class sizes are up to 16 and mandarin class sizes are up to 25.  For further questions contact us at [email protected].
Are there classes that fill up quickly?
Yes, certain grade levels fill up quickly.  As they fill up we will post the information about specific classes, and you will be placed on a waitlist when classes fill up.
Will there be a pre-K class?
There will be a pre-K class as long as the minimum enrollment number is met.  Unfortunately, the number was not met and there is no pre-K class for this school year.
​What textbook does PACS use for the Mandarin language curriculum?
The Mandarin language curriculum uses 美洲華語.  Please see the FAQ page for more information.
