Ø      【社區活動】親子書坊舉辦的0 -6歲父母成長班由灣區著名的親子專家陳姝伶博士主講，每隔週四早上10點至中午12點上課，共計五次。四月份起並將推出7 – 18 歲父母成長班。詳情請看：

親子書坊另外還有一項給3-12歲小朋友參加的元宵節民俗親子營，時間是2/23下午1:30-2:30。

Ø      北加州中文學校聯合會有一個值得參加的有趣活動─2008金鼠年元宵燈謎大賽，時間是3/2 日星期日下午2:30 - 4:30，地點在南灣華僑文教中心。2/14日報名截止。相關網站為：

*      Happy Year of the Rat to everyone.

*      We welcome the 11 new transfer students to our School, and Ms. Yu Lan Yang, the new teacher of Conversation/Writing A Class.

*      The annual academic contest will be held on Sunday, 2/10/08 from 1:00 – 6:00 PM. Contest information is available on our school website. The champions of each category will participate Northern California Chinese Academic Contest on April 6th.  Good luck to all the contestants!

*      A new discount is offered for annual membership at Golden Gate Badminton Club. The regular membership that usually costs $400 is now offered at $250 for the first 10 PACS families who join the club as a new member. The website of GGBC is: http://www.ggbadminton.com/ . Your family gets the workout, and our school gets the contribution. Everybody wins! Please inquire at the office (room 400) if you are interested.

*      [Community Events] Books and Me Library has a Parent Support Group for parents with kids aged 0-6. The Support Group is lead by child development expert, Dr. Shu-Ling Chen. The group meets every other Thursday from 10:00 AM – noon. There are 5 meetings in all. In April a new group will be forming for parents with children 7-18 years old. Books and Me Library also has a special mini camp for children aged 3-12, to celebrate Chinese Lantern Festival. The mini camp will be held on Saturday, 2/23, from 1:30 – 2:30 PM. Info of the mini camp is available on:
